Remember when we had to tell people over and over that they should not blindly copy shell commands from the internet without knowing what they do?
Well, AI is taking this to a whole new level. People now copy large junks of code they do not understand and run it on their production systems.
I have to get into the habit of asking whether the code was AI generated when people come to ask why their code doesn't do what they expect it to. Then turn them away because trying to help is just a waste of time...
