Now I activated the last summit around town. A bit of a hassle for two points, that one. #

OK, I'm finally going to ask (I did to a search first to find a likely candidate)
SOTA = Summits On The Air?

your research came up with the correct candidate. I got hooked almost exactly a year ago, only month after I got my ham licence.

I had noticed several antennae on peaks in pictures, so when that came up as a possibility, it seemed really likely. It also helped that hamradio was a tag on this post (possibly on others as well, but I hadn't really noticed before)

My intention was to put the #
hamradio
tag on every post to make it easier for people to figure out what I was talking about and also to allow people to set a filter when they get fed up with me going on about ham stuff. I can't guarantee that I stuck to it for every post, though....
Anyhow, yes, pictures of antennae are a recurring feature in #
SOTA
pictures.
