We decided to spend a day doing something Finnish and went back to the hut @jezra requested images of, this time armed with matches, old newspapers and reindeer sausages. The wood is provided by the Finnish state....

@jezra hope those images are ok as I'm not going back there again...

@Andrew Conway @theru @jezra I haven't tried the nose but apart from that it's a very tasty tough a tad boring version of deer meat. Boring compared to the chamois we get in Switzerland, that is....

I'm looking forward to a Christmas with fewer presents because we ate Rudolf. Not sure this works, though. There are still a lot of Rudolfs (A LOT!!) in the forests, and a whole cooler full of Rudolf meat at the supermarket.

@mcnalu @theru @navigium there is a 100% chance I will pick up some sausage today on the way home from a round cabin. Sadly, it will not be reindeer :(
